Teen Connection (Ages 13-21)

Teen Connection at the Down Syndrome Association of Central Oklahoma (DSACO) is designed to support and engage teenagers with Down syndrome, ages 13 to 21. The group offers peer mentoring, college, and career readiness workshops, social events like dances and outings, leadership development, and advocacy training. Participants benefit from academic support, social interaction, personal growth, and preparation for adulthood. Teen Connection helps teens build friendships, develop essential skills, and gain the confidence they need for a successful transition into adult life.
